Paradigm Treatment Centers was thrilled to return as a Keynote Sponsor for the Lesbian & Gay Psychotherapy Association’s (LAGPA) 24th Annual LGBTQ Psychotherapy Conference in Los Angeles, in association with Mount Saint Mary’s University, who acted as co-sponsor and host for the event.
The enriching and informative one-day conference presents leading academic research and expertise on current LGBTQ+ topics that are of particular relevance to mental health professionals and their clientele. The conference is designed to meet the educational needs of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and therapists, and attracts some of the most vital and prolific thought leaders in the field.

This year’s Keynote Speaker, David Fawcett PhD, LCSW, is a social worker, author and sex therapist specializing in LGBTQ+ health. He is also Vice President for Clinical Programming at Seeking Integrity LLC. His work has taken him to France, the Netherlands and the UK as a consultant and expert in the field.
In 2018, he was instrumental in advocating for the creation of a methamphetamine forum co-sponsored by the NYC Health Department and ACT UP NY. He is a regular contributor to TheBody.com and TheBodyPRO.com, writing about HIV, mental health and substance abuse and he has been published in Huffington Post, Positively Aware, and other journals.
