Paradigm Treatment Centers is pleased to announce that Melissa Guyot, a therapist at our San Francisco location, has been selected as January’s “Employee of the Month.”
Melissa Guyot is a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies and has a Master of Arts degree in Somatic Psychology. Her experience includes providing support to families and teens in both school and private practice settings and has experience in nutrition and healthy eating. Melissa brings a holistic approach that draws on a range of relational and somatic therapeutic approaches.
While Melissa has only been a member of the Paradigm San Francisco team for a little less than a year, she has proven herself as a valuable addition. She is passionate about connection and meets teens where they are in order to build a relationship of inquiry. She believes that adolescents impacted by depression, self-harm, body dysmorphia, trauma and social issues can heal from the past and bring their fullest self forward.
Paradigm San Francisco’s Deputy Director Dianna Welsh describes Melissa Guyot as an outstanding therapist and team member: “Melissa’s dedication to the youth we serve, as well as her colleagues, is demonstrated in countless ways. Her creative and thoughtful approach to this work lends to the truly unique connection she builds with each of her clients and their families. She is trusted and respected amongst both staff and clients, and we are grateful for the energy and skill she brings to this team.”
Melissa Guyot is committed to assisting teens in shaping environments and relationships where they feel safe, supported and well resourced. We congratulate Melissa on all her hard work and look forward to watching her flourish during her time at Paradigm.
